Hailing from Tijuana in Mexico, @soulofhex have already released dynamite EP's via Jimpster's Freerange and @elusionsofgrandeur labels and now they are back with another delicious slab of house groove in the shape of the Pharaoh Machine EP. @bushwackaofficial is a producer and DJ who really needs no introduction. He has been part of the fabric of the electronic music in the UK since the late 90's both in his own right and as one half of chart conquering duo Layo & Bushwacka!. whose track Love Story Vs Finally has become an evergreen staple since it's release in 2002. That track is only a tiny fraction of the Bushwacka story though.

One of his next gigs see's him land at Campo Sancho where he is playing on the Saturday night, 30th July. Ahead of the gig he put together this mix for us and I spoke to him at length about his musical upbringing and his extensive career along with what we can expect from his set at Campo Sancho and loads more.

This week's guest mix breaks new ground for us in the series, as we welcome two of Djoon's residents to play B2B in the form of Afshin and Karlainthemix. Together they showcase the sound of the Parisien underground and the vibe of Djoon.

Afshin is a highly respected and experienced musical selector, curator, and founder of the Djoon. Strong house and disco vibes coloured by worldwide influences with a contemporary sound and groove define Afshin's world. With groove as the keystone, Afshin develops his love of Black Music in his sets and his productions as well as in his residency, My Grooves, which brings together legends and rising stars around House Music.

Karla is a DJ, dancer and a bonafide club head of Finnish origin, who spent years on the dance floors of different clubs worldwide before moving to Paris in 2018, where she became a resident at the underground music temple the Djoon club.
