So that was the final night at the Paradise Farage. Sadly the club has had to be closed down, demolished and the site turned into a giant lorry park as a result of Brexit. For our last show, we travelled to Ray Mang's studio and streamed live from deepest East London with Mr Mang himself, a Leftside Wobble guest mix and me. Enjoy and thanks so much for all the support I've received over the past 15 months, it's really appreciated.

Delfonic, a busy guy that will hit you with his experienced, flawless flow and the skills of a Hip Hop veteran but an open-minded music taste including soulful grooves from new jazz vibes, underground Disco, American House, Breaks and Afro Grooves.

With a history in digging and an unquestionable love for music, Markus Lindner, a.k.a. Delfonic, is one of the most versatile and informed DJ as they come. He used to be the key character concerning music knowledge in Berlin. After a long decade at OYE records store he left the business to become a 100% touring DJ and also to do a series of Dance Jazz Edits (Illegal Jazz) which create a massive buzz in the new house and funky dance world (support from Gilles Peterson, Honey Dijon and many others).

Delfonic applies his broad knowledge of music styles to almost any setting, and is renowned for blending multiple genres, eras and disciplines throughout his sets. An open-minded talent, with an uncompromising approach to DJing, he employs a style schooled from an upbringing in hip-hop. Delfonic is the model DJ - he'll warm the crowd up, get them dancing and then provide the scope and context that will keep the heads on board.

Next up joining the Reframe we have Leeds based DJ/Producer and all round good guy John Paynter. Host of the monthly radio show “A Space Age Freak Out and head of Paisley Dark Record label trading in some of the finest electronic psychedelia.  
John has been an avid collector of vinyl for many years spanning a wide and varied range of genre, his signature sound taking influence from central strands of electronica, punk, funk and dub creations.

In recent years his focus has moved into production with remix work for artists including BT Cop, Shunt Voltage, Japanese Television, Steady State, Clandestino and From Beyond... John has taken a left turn to his usual dancefloor focussed sound and put together a summer infused selection closing out the last  hour and 45 of the show with the ReFrame opening up.   

The first Hour and 24 mins from the ReFrame with a more upbeat focussed selection featurning music from Samizdat, Pejzaz,  Patchouli Brothers, MM, Afrobutt & Mudd, The ReFrame, Yadava, ORM, Ronnie Dyson, Disco Sucks, Unreasonable echo, Bastedos and Peter Blaker.

Seasons greetings! We're closing out 2024 with a selector that perhaps needs no further introduction, but in case you've been living under a rock for the past 15 years, we are extremely excited to present the next Idle Cellars mix by the one and only EDDIE C! Mr. C (NOT THAT ONE) is, in our esteemed opinion, one of the best DJ's in the entire world and we're crazy stoked to have him as the next IC mix for your listening pleasure. Canada-born & Berlin-bred, Eddie has been gallivanting all over the globe as a musical expert in a world of tourists, ready to spread good vibes and his sparkling personality (plus that Canadian politeness we always hear about) to the four corners of the planet. 

His resume is, frankly, ridiculous. As a producer and "editor", Eddie is responsible for countless fantastic releases across disco edit labels like his own RED MOTORBIKE, COMMON EDIT, 7 INCHES OF LOVE, KOLOUR LTD, SLEAZY BEATS, LUMBERJACKS IN HELL and many, many more, plus he's been fully embraced by the Japanese contingent with many releases on MULE sublabel ENDLESS FLIGHT as well as CRUE-L & SOUNDOFSPEED. The man's discography as a producer is as wide as it is deep and he continues to be extremely active with new remixes or originals coming out regularly.

DJ-wise our boy has the chops to be dropped into any situation and rock the party, whether that's at Cafe Del Mar, Panoramabar, the Sunset Campout or dodgy mafia-run nightclubs in deepest Eastern Europe. To put it succinctly, he is...THE MAN. 

We think Eddie C is a perfect closer to our year.
