Description: Here's the tribute to Larry Levan we did on what would have been on his 70th birthday at the Castletown Distillery in Newcastle Under Lyme. Hopefully different enough from the set Frank and I did on the following Friday at the Social in London for them both to be enjoyable. Kelvin defnitely brought a different vibe to the party and even played a track I didn't know!

Oh man, always adored this record. Finally found a copy in a secondhand record shop on the Lower east side about 20 years ago. I asked the owner if he had a copy, on the off chance. He said he thought he had a copy in the basement. it was a bit dusty, but the original release. i could have cried. Shook that man's hand and told him he'd made my holiday complete, I'd have swum to NYC for that record. This was way before Discogs made things (too) easy.
