Second track in the "Steampunk'd (The Dark Past)" album.

This track is inspired by Jules Verne's classic ("steampunk" before there was such a term) science fiction novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas" (the 20,000 leagues refers to distance travelled under the sea, not the underwater depth) and the submarine Nautilus that's featured prominently in the book (becoming as much a character in the story as its captain, Nemo) and the many movies based on the book. What if, instead of a submarine, the Nautilus were a steam powered airship traveling a distance of 20,000 leagues (approximately 50,000 miles) over the seas...

Ambient number with some familiar settings of mine. There are only seven tracks in this one, using the Zebra, Albino, Alchemy and U-he's new synth, the Diva. Hope you might like it.

The image is a photo I took in the Hiroshima Memorial Museum. It's a painting made by one of the victims, and is called "Black Rain". It was very moving, I have to say.
