A trio of hypnotic, shapeshifting grooves from Thomass Jackson that blur the lines between party and paranormal. Unpredictable yet always danceable.

Transcend into orbit with Uritorco Times. (Probably) an ode to Argentina’s most mystical peak, UFO synthesisers flash and bleep around a wonky bassline. The result is equal parts mystic ritual and late night mischief.

Sly yet crunchy Push Comes To Shove rides a killer bassline over off kilter percussion. Sleazy mechanical funk that teeters, entranced between tension and release.

Sonic Witchcraft ensues in Junk Be Gone as the shadowy yet playful bassline twists like smoke around the acid melody summoning rhythm from strangeness.

Junk Be Gone gets the Felix Dickinson treatment for the EP’s remix delivering an extra long rework that stays respectfully true to the original in all the right ways. Live acid bass envelops the original bassline whilst ever intensifying synth solos build to an epic crescendo.

Hustlers Convention - Clue You In (1996)

Argenis Brito and Ricardo Villalobos have returned to the studio together. The pair are releasing two new tracks under the alias Pox & Pol, due to drop later on this month via London imprint Toi Toi Musik. Both artists are known for their percussive minimal collaborations – in 2016 they joined forces for 'Amnesia EP', and both featured on the Sei Es Drum classic, 'Peculiar'.

Ricardo is coming back to Farringdon for his next FRRC showcase on 19th May, so he sent over B-side 'Rikileaks' for us to share as an exclusive premiere. Taking in subdued drum squelches and a distorted vocal across a typically enduring 11-minute playtime, it’s one of Ricardo’s more melodic efforts in recent years, recalling cuts like 'Emilio (2nd Minimoonstar)' and 'Melo De Melo'. Tuscany's very own Fabio Della Torre is a real Italian institution, as he's been around for almost 25 years, also collaborating with his partner in crime Ennio Colaci under the Minimono moniker. Fabio also runs the renowned Bosconi Records, a shining example of creativity and craftsmanship in the Italian music scene. With a back catalogue rich in hand-crafted house music, unique downtempo beats and all the moods in between, hosting huge names such as Mass Prod, Dan Curtin, 100hz, Eduardo De La Calle and the legendary A Guy Called Gerald.
 
Back in June, the Bosconi Records crew rocked up there for a live hardware jam session featuring an array of musicians from the label including Fabio Della Torre on the mixer and Dukwa, Ennio Colaci, Herva, Mass Prod, Rufus, The Clover on the instruments with the special participation of A Guy Called Gerald. Now comes the record with the exceptional results all pressed to wax. The selected tracks follow the order of execution which has naturally developed in a crescendo from 130 to 180 BPM, and then closes by slowing down with a take at 110BPM.
