Breaks Mix #2 - Underground Hammers (Breakbeat)

In classic breaks fashion, this mix features the sickest cuts from the dopest underground tracks you’ve never heard (until now)—reinforced by bangers we all know and love.

This is the perfect mix if you’re ADD or get bored easily because it’s packed with variety, has a variable BPM, and doesn’t linger.

It was fun to record because I mixed five (5) drum & bass tracks with 174-176 BPM into the breaks at 130.5-132 BPM. Most songs are played at or close to their original BPMs, but a handful are a good bit slower than normal.

Disco Night Set at Plumhouse Salt Lake City 10-11-2025 (Disco House)

Electric Valley Utah asked me to play a UK Garage set for their nano festival, and I said hell yes!! This is the mix I played at midnight on the first night of the three-night event.

Hindsight is always 20-20, and as it turns out, this was one of the most technically challenging garage sets I've played. But oh boy was it fun! 

It's taken me three months of countless failed attempts to rip a proper recording of this mix... and this is as close to the show as I've been able to record. It's not perfect. But nothing is, right?

Dubbed wintertime blues because my girl Mary Droppinz's wintertime blues remix is in the heart of the mix, and the crowd ate the drop up, every last bit, and licked the plate clean.
