The opener for 2025 is a mix by Khotin from Edmonton, known for his productions from such as Ghostly and Public Release. This 80mins recorded live in Victoria, British Columbia on August 5, 2023 sounds very imaginative. Over a powerful yet rounded bottom and nimbly dancing percussion, the dreamy and melancholic melodies that can be found his works sway, and his dubbed-out groove sometimes with a slight feverishness, but always maintaining a low altitude will make you feel as if you are dancing in the morning haze. We are very happy to share our latest podcast from one of our favourite DJs - FROND. 

We are a great admirer of FROND's work, both as an DJ across the UK's subterranean/swampy rave scene, and through her precise production style, displayed in her recent People & Places release. We also have v fond memories of her masterful set at Bakk Heia last year, where she gracefully tunnelled through the gears towards collective joyful chaos.

This mix is a reflection of FROND's ability to toe the line between driving body movers, and euphoria inducing tear grabbers. It's a powerful combination, and one that drives straight to the heart. <3

The album is filled with surprises, seamlessly transitioning from acid infected vibes and catchy electronic pop to avant-garde electro cuts. But this is "The Mixtape", a 45 min energetic and deep dive into essential Electro and Detroit Techno.
