Billy Hill requires little introduction. In the past two decades this 44 year old superstar’s career has been up and down many times, having his seemingly endless low and high points constantly splashed all over tabloid magazines for years. His battle with  alcoholism, bad boy attitude, short fuse and womanizing ways occupying most of the singer’s publicity with little room left to focus on the amazing talent for song writing and live performance that Billy possesses.
“Broken Spoke Saloon” a song inspired by the area that Billy grew up in, shot to the top of the Wonglepong Country Music Charts in mid 1994 holding out both Drake Lake’s “I shot myself in the foot again Ma” and Big Bob Fingleton’s “How can I love you if you won’t lay down” for the number one spot throughout the entire Winter of that year.
Billy calls himself a stogie lighting, whiskey shooting, horn tooting, shit talking, red-necking, beer-swilling, junk-punching, lamb-eating, polyester-wearing, lawn-bowling, flamingo-dancing, woman-izing, super-starring, shit-kicking honest bloke who is really just very mis-understood, but most people that really know Billy think he’s just a c#*t and refer to him as the asshole that puts the c#*t into country music.
Love him, or hate him, he just never seems to go away.
