This is my version of Pink Floyd’s first single, the Syd Barrett classic, “Arnold Layne”.  This was recorded in 2007 as Jerzy Mike and the Barnburners as an entry into a song competition sponsored by David Gilmour to honor the 40 year anniversary of its release.  This production includes an homage to Barrett by transposing the intro to the Pink Floyd homage to Barrett, “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”.  The harmonium chord intro was emulated using tuned wine goblets along with the transposed, haunting  4-note guitar motif that SOYCD is famous for.
