This ish actually made me cry and you can hear it at the end of the set. Oops! I have a huge place in my heart for Prince and have from such a young age thanks to my Mother and everyone in that crowd put just as much heart and soul into dancing as i did mixing.

I can’t thank you enough for the most enjoyable and emotional set of my life. Thank you Dirtybird family!

DJ, producer, sound engineer, label owner: Billy Kenny’s become known for many things throughout his career, and he’s built a sizeable following from this in a shorter timespan than most artists dream of. He’s been releasing and playing party-inclined house since 2013, mostly through his label, This Ain’t Bristol. 

Kenny launched the imprint alongside three friends in Hanover in 2015, and the music they release fits snugly with his DJ style: the records always sound like they’re made specifically for the dancefloor, and he matches this behind the decks with quick transitions, scratching, sampling, and just about anything that will make the crowd take notice. He brings This Ain’t Bristol to Room Two on 15th June, and he displayed this ardent party spirit in an hour-long mix for us ahead of the date.
