Billy Russo is a three piece alternative rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin consisting of guitarist and singer Nick Pearson, bassist Tyler Stefanski, and drummer Chris Struve. All three members were in different bands before uniting as Billy Russo. Nick Pearson and Chris Struve met in 2011 and played in a band called Three Legged Toad. Nick went on to front his own project, The Monday Specials, a blues rock inspired two piece much in the vein of The White Stripes and The Black Keys. During that time Nick and Tyler met and several years after reconnected- Tyler having moved to Nashville and back, and then hosting the open mic night at the Up & Under Pub in Milwaukee. It was at the Up & Under Pub open mic night in the fall of 2019 that Billy Russo was formed. Nick and Chris signed up on the list and Tyler stayed on stage to accompany on bass. There were sparks, there was fire, they knew it... so they decided to become something more than a flash in the pan jam. They decided to become a band.
