04 That Home Far Away

I hitched up tot he concert and was one of the first 100 people there. Pitched out tent in the woods outside of the gate and preceded to loose ourselves in the mass of 600,000 people that rolled in through the next few days. Rode into town on the hood of a car bought a case of beer and went back to settle in. I remember getting up the next day to chaos. We got seats way up front near the stage. The stage had to be 30 feet up. I stayed to listen to the sound check by the Dead the night before and it went on for a whole set. I am so grateful (pun intended) for whom ever recorded this as the next day was a washout.
