It's still the weekend, the sun is shining, and the birds are not chirping and actually let me sleep in long enough to dream up this catchy little jingle. It has overtones of the old "Farmer Jack" radio jingles from many moons ago, if that rings a bell...but anywho, without further ado, the Bill-Harmonic Orchestra, presents The Happy Song!

Ah yes, that special time of year when 64 teams shuffle up around the country and do battle until all the dust settles on one, sole victor. And even now, as Stanford is upsetting Kansas, we are reminded that anything can come from this madness. You know that lovely time right before you fall asleep when you think about crazy stuff? One night I couldn't get that dang De Beer's diamond song outta my head, for like months at a time! So, only way to remedy the situation, turn to the Bill-Harmonic Orchestra to compose my rendition. Envision that diamond guy's soothing voice..."You really want to tell her you love her? Turn to De Beers for the peerless diamond from our eternal collection...blah blah blah" Happy Listening!

To learn the story behind this catchy tune we must travel back to 2009, when Mr. Jason Talbot and whittled this jingle out of his guitar while working on a campaign for PAM, the cooking spray. This jingle has been stuck in my head ever since...STUCK IN YOUR HEAD, NOT IN THE PAN! I'll post a rendition with the lyrics shortly so you can absorb its full effect, but for how enjoy the orchestral journey through the world of non-stick cooking spays.

Thanks to my severe ADD, I have about 6 songs in the works. So, in the mean time while I get my ducks in a row...Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you The Bill-Harmonic Orchestra's very first performance...The Teori Overture. This song was born many moons ago for a class project. We created hypothetical markers that snapped together like Legos teaching kids color theory (red + yellow = orange, and so forth.) We named this marker system "Teori" (the Danish word for color.) This idea grew into a video came where kids play must fight an evil wizard to restore the colors to the once-beautiful land of "Teoria." You'll hear 4 interpretations of the the main "jingle"...1. Happy and "colorful" 2. Mourning the loss of color 3. Wizard battle 4. Color's back! You won the game! Yay!

This is why I got the orchestra expansion pack. It's all about those power strings! If there ever were a song that needed your best headphones and needed the volume turned up as far as you can stand it, this is it. It is "Hellbound" after all...so there should be some pain in those eardrums. Ok, if they're bleeding, turn it down a skosh, I suppose.

The first time I heard this song, I was overwhelmed by the amount of instruments and such woven to concoct this Australian's chart-topper. So, of course, I had to figure them out with the BHO. Small variations make for a slightly different composition than what's airing on the radio (and this is NOT based on the silly hip-hop version that 95.5 plays.) Can't figure out the title? Sound it out...or, go buy the game "Mad Libs" and practice up, or just look at the tags...that is if the introductory xylophone doesn't give it away...
