Welcome to the lost files of Jess Van Ness. Moods for the Moody was actually the first draft of “The Last Breathe” originally recorded in 2020, but the impact of George Floyd changed the course of this release. Devastated, Jess changed almost the entire project based on what he was feeling at the time as a tribute to those that tragically lost their lives at the hands of those that are supposed to be protectors. This recording was filed away and almost forgotten. Unfortunately, the set list has also been lost. 

About Moods for the Moody, it’s a collage of deep dark twisting tracks ranging from progressive, minimal techno, afro, and melodic techno with elements of haunting vocals.

He was part of the successful psytrance duo 'Somatic Cell', with whom he performed on the biggest psytrance stages around the world. The mix he’s done for us consists entirely of his own original tracks.

Her new single “My Year” is out today, 2nd Sept 2022 on Toolroom Records and she’s part of Toolroom’s #wearelistening platform which encourages music by female artists.
