My sunrise set from the December FMG moontribe on 12/19/21. It was in the high 20's (F) out in the Mojave Desert and the set transitioned the party from night to day (5:30a - 7:30a). The switch from DnB to Breaks/Garage happened just as the sun peaked over the horizon, it worked out perfectly. This was also my first time back playing in-person at Moontribe in almost exactly 2 years, so I really wanted to kick em in the pants with some new stuff ;)

Felt a ton of love from the Moontribe fam and was so happy to be back in the desert playing tunes for them again!

"keerd is fascinated by how music influences the environment around us - how it sets the scene and tells a story that reflects the writer's emotions or experiences in unique ways. With the California Bay Area native's background in sound design, he has been perfecting his craft in electronic music for over a decade. Recorded live on Jan 28, 2023 at Dolly Disco in Vancouver.  This is the first time we've played an all night B2B together and it ended up being one of most fun times either of us have had DJing.  We played 6 hours from open to close. This recording captures the arch of energy throughout the night, the spontaneity of trading 3 for 3, the imperfections/perfections of a live set and connection between dance floor and DJ. One of my favourite sets I've played in a while, absolutely love the vibe on this one.
Started with some smooth 2steppy shuffle and house into uk breaks, into some light and medium techno, into dubstep, then ramped up through some 150 light jungle into liquid dnb for a while, then into some moody breakbeats again, then house and through some weird 100bmp stuff before winding down with some lofi and hip hop.
