"We are Monologue, long-time friends and collaborators Aroma Nice and Earl Grey, and this is our new EP, Acid Settee. These tunes are the fruits of a collaborative tug of war between the two of us, over the course of one English summer. Pretty much all the music here has been done remotely, starting with the editing of the other guy’s hardware jams, trading stems and samples, putting a different spin on something and sending it back just a little bit more broken, or just completely remixing something previously unfinished. Our tastes as individuals don’t always align so we’re proud to have been able to agree on something for long enough to compromise and get these beats finished and out there to find listeners. Hope you dig it.
