Powerful modular madness, recording to k7 made it even better imho. Kudos.

A percussive patch featuring the amazing Modcan frequency shifter 39B and a bunch of other Modcan modules. 

There are two voices,  in a combined 3U and 5U patch:

1. MOTM-300 Saw-wave going into a Modcan 4075 36B filter, a Modcan Quad Envelope creates a snappy envelope paired with the Modcan 4VCA 31B. This is fed into the Modcan frequency shifter 39B. The outputs of the 39B are panned left and right. The pitches going into the MOTM-300 are also used in the 1v/octave input of the 39B (scaled by a VCA and wiggled live to create the shifting sounds)

2. Modcan FMVDO, modulated by a Modcan QuadLFO, the waveform is scanned and the Index CV and Ratio CV are modulated. Envelope is Modcan Quad Env. into the Modcan Quad VCA 31B.

Pitches are made with a MIDI keyboard and a MI Yarns (arpeggio mode, random direction). The gate output of the Yarns is split with a MI Branches and a 4ms Quad CLock distributor. These create the polyrhythms between the two voices. The QCD is also wiggled live.

This patch is all recorded in one take and edited afterwards to make it shorter and slightly less boring.

Minimalist scifi 60bpm. Visual is a tiny radio tower ship orbiting in the vast sea of stars.

Other apps used were: Audiobus, Audioshare, Audiocopy, and Reaper to trim the ends.
Although the contest asked to do something that is "very you" my style varies depending on the instruments used, so far this is very "me" for what I'm making on the iPad.

I just built this Falafular 808 Snare eurorack module. I have been tweaking and tuning it to make it sounds right. Here is a comparison of using a 12V vs 15V power supply. I only change the power supply, all settings (Snappy, Tone) are the same. It seems that 15V has a shorter decay and make it sound more like a 808.
