SUPAFLY

First half was written in 2018, after hearing the homeless man Gyula Remes died in Westminster Station, as MPs walked right over him. All in the wake of the Grenfell fire of 2017, and the other "accidental" fire what burnt down Camden Market as it faced the pushback protest to encroaching gentrification having been bought by a billionaire. All at the time still fizzing with the memory of the 2011 riots sparked by the police shooting the unarmed Mark Duggan.

Second half is a response to then from now, in the face of world wars, fascist uprisings  & ecological collapse… it aint getting better, but we can do better, and I had to let my younger self know to not give up… keep hope & keep going, coz the fight aint over and wins have been won before many times over, and goddammit we will win again so long as there is soul, that what lives in the resistance. Anger is a natural response to the world we live in. It’s a powerful energy, & often a dangerous one readily used for destruction. But if channeled artfully, anger is the best fuel for effective activism. It can burn and it can build.
