Talk about inspiration, huh?

This piece was inspired entirely by the sights, night scene, and feelings I experienced visiting the Miami Keys. And mannnnn, I cannot believe this is what I came up with!
Coming back to my tiny little town of Mead, CO, I was in need of something new and unexpected to come out of my speakers. SOOOOOO.... I began the process of breaking my boundaries within my comfort zone of producing. Excited to get back to this new found world down south, I created a jam dizzle that may have been inspired in the Miami Keys, but born of the Mile High style of trvp and dub (which is, imo, a staple of what the 303 scene has turned me into). Just a mountain kandi-kid yearning for the beach. Thus, this is Not Miami's Heat, but the 303's 😈

Ahhhh, now this little piggy went alll the way in when it came to revisiting DeHouse.

Now, DeHouse is purely just my way of fuckin up the status quo of House these days. I've never been one for cookie-cutter styles in the EDM world, so I always see House as an opportunity to break the norm.
I took full advantage of the classic techno Saw sound we all know and love, and for good reason. I sent this to quite a few people multiple times through out the process and received "The sounds themselves sound too basic" on a few different accounts, but that was the goal 🤷🏾‍♂️ I wanted that CLASSIC sound everyone knows and loves from the Tech House scene and to spin it into a new format of itself - imo, it paid off - BIG time. 

The way I see it, it's based off the old and is gold in its own way - and that's what creativity is all about.

3. Welcome To DeHouse PT. 2

This track was the end product of an idea that came to life over an 8 hour session in one night. Over the course of 2 months fiddling around with different sound combinations and swapping filters/effects, this lil baddie became the groove you hear now. I wont lie, I started with the vocal sample, so naturally,  the motive was to pull out some of the best producing techniques I've developed so far and show y'all my way of how it's done right (Hence why it had to sting like a bee). When thrown live, it never fails to get the crowd bouncin! Gotta say, it's become one of my fav House tracks I've produced yet, and I hope it becomes one of yours as well 〰️👾〰️

I'm amazed with how much attention this track has a massed, seeing how I thought it would be the most overlooked piece of this EP... I really love this one. My goal was to come for the feels from every flank - The blissfull, the melancholic, the hurt, the resilience, and the mighty. ALL of those emotions went into these audio waves and is a solid reminder to me of why we need to float like a Hummingbird in this life.
