k_schreiber is a London based DJ and producer with a passion for eclectic electronics: electro, techno, IDM, acid and house

Nurtured on a diet of soul, funk and hip hop, his musical horizons were broadened by John Peel and Gilles Peterson leading to a vinyl obsession that persists to this day.
Having earned his stripes as a DJ and promoter, it was only a matter of time before his love of moving the crowd paved the way for a natural progression into music making.
Detroit, Chicago & Berlin are huge influences in his techno and electro productions, with the melodic and deep side of house reserved for his Sarru Project alias.

This month we invite Purplehands from the Cambridge Mother Chip Connexion crew onto the show. Mother Chip Connexion is a collective of Cambridge based producers that include Purplehands, Nullptr, Paul Hierophant, The Subdermic and SP101. It  was founded by Puplehands after he met other like minded individuals in Cambridge. 
Purplehands is focused on hardware driven livests but has also released suburb ambient music including an album on the High Priestess record label. The gear used for this set includes a Machinedrum, Monomachine, Octatrack and Perkons.

UK-based producer and DJ, BinaryFunction, is no novice to the scene. 
Moving on from Manchester, he relocated to the island of Mauritius in 1991, where he lived for 12 years. He began producing music from 1995 onwards, and took part in a DMC competition coming first. He began DJ’ing on the island of Mauritius the minute he arrived and quickly built a reputation as the first underground DJ on the island. His Acid House influences took over and he began DJing in most of the islands biggest clubs, leading him to warm up for French legend Laurent Garnier in 1998 on the neighbouring island Reunion. Since 2004 BinaryFunction returned to his hometown of Manchester and has been honing his production craft and DJing skills, waiting for the opportune moment to release his music.
BinaryFunction has recently graduated from Mathew Jonson's Freedom Engine Academy.
