Speech and music have common parameters, such as pitch, rhythm, repetition, call, response, etc. Leoš Janáček used to notate friends' and associates' way of speaking and heavily based the music in his operas on this phenomena. Our song is a playful exploration of the matter, and the basic idea originated after noticing the musical qualities in one’s own talk. The repetition of a single sentence tends to empty the language from its meaning, revealing the musicality of the phonemes

Gotta Sleep More This Week

In the early 16th century Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch created one of his most famous works "The Garden of Earthly Delights". Much has been written about it all over the years but recently the triptych got some extra attention. American Amelia Hamrick discovered and decoded a medieval melody Bosch had painted on a sinner's behinds in the "Hell" section. After that, a whole bunch of musicians made remixes out of it. Here comes our version. 
Lyrics:

V1: In the dark garden of hell
       Where wicked music plays
       And anguish dwells
       And sharp knives pears ears of Sinners who squirm and yell:
       "What a tonal injury!
         Such an agony!
        Oh, where do these sounds come from? Who can tell?"

spoken:   But look down to the left!
        There lies a man under lute suppressed.
        And one might think this is some kind of an absurd jest
        But it looks like someone music on his butt has pressed.

V2:  "Watch out for your butt my friend!
         Behind do not bend!
         'Cause you might lend
         Your bottom to a naughty painter to compose music of Hell
          And drive us all insane.
          It's such a pain
           To hear these jarring sounds without end!"

“Binding Orbital Perspectives” is the fruit of the online collaboration between Ralitza Ivanova (a.k.a Tara Solar) & Jérôme Vion (a.k.a. SKMS). The band seeks to explore the fusion of ideas of two musicians who have diverse backgrounds and share views from distant places. Counter-complementary contrasts blended in a natural union through instinctive approach to music, and supported by technology.
