Lyon House-ambassador and person-in-charge for heady House music with a positive note Simon Blondeau, who most of us know as under his artist moniker Crowd Control, has made a superb performance since launching his label Happiness Therapy in 2018, of course starting its cheerful triumph with a split EP from the man himself. Ever since the label as well as Crowd Control himself have built up an impressing release catalogue with music from aspiring or established artists from the House music scene not only delivering the before-mentioned music with a therapeutical effect but refreshing vibes in a classy guise. As much as the label has grown and become a scene's go-to for quality House music Crowd Control too has found his way of releasing music, running the label, being involved in an artist booking agency and having own events. Shortly before 2022 came to an end Simon dropped his altogether 3rd outing on Happiness Therapy, Pianorama, possibly one of the tracks for the 2023 festival season, maybe one for forever. Whatever it may be and when is not in the artist's hands but he's surely balanced enough to deal with it.

A self-taught musician, he learnt his trade as a DJ on a pair of Soundlabs back in the '90s and with 20 years of music knowledge under his belt. His encyclopedic house sets are as educated as they come.

A well-connected, amicable guy who always lets the music do the talking, James has amassed countless friends on the UK dance scene over the years, helping to throw parties and linking up with leading industry figures at the world's most important club events.

A lover of music for the right reasons, he prides himself on being a versatile DJ who can read a dancefloor and control a crowd any time of day or night. A master of sexy yet earthy percussive grooves, he's as careful to please a dancefloor as he is of preserving his own values as a renowned vibe creator.

“I want to make others feel the way I feel when listening or playing music. Witness the satisfaction people have through my judgement of music,” said James when asked about his love of DJing.

Malfunktion by Kinay is driven by a strong, relentless rhythm – precise, hard, almost machine-like. Yet above this raw energy float soft pads, acting as a counterweight: warm, breathing, fragile. Between these two poles unfold glitches and disturbances, fragmenting the sound without ever fully breaking it.
What emerges is a constant tension – a balance of control and chaos, structure and drift. Each repetition carries small fractures, each detail feels like the echo of a larger disruption.
Malfunktion is not an outburst but a process: a state of endurance, of being continuously propelled forward. Rhythm as engine, pads as breath, noise as the reminder that perfection is always fragile.

Melbourne based DJ and producer BINOFSKI has always had a long-standing obsession with hard-house grooves and raw underground production aesthetics. His sound has an appreciation of all things Detroit, Chicago and UK house with a drenching of club-ready 4x4 grooves and 90’s Acid. His monthly UNCUT RHYTHM DJ sets are a brew of groovy jackin’ house and upfront underground tech through to bumpy garage and snippets of lofi. 

In the studio BINOFSKI utilizes his own unique approach that connects the dots with his sound as a DJ.  Groove-focused and addicted to hardware, you can expect a sound heavily derived from analogue synths and drum machines that’s deep, groovy and has a distinct 90’s house flavour. His less-is-more approach is a driving factor that helps him stay focused on what is really the most important element to his music: The Groove.
