Binti Afrika started her music career in 1999 as part of a group called Kreative Mynds, behind the hit single "Mo Fire". She then went on to work with top East African artists, before releasing her debut album "SAUTI INAWIKA" in January 2016. She champions a movement called the "Lioness Order", uplifting and empowering the spirits of female youth from the ghetto to the suburbs. In October 2015, whilst collaborating on the first Mungo's Hi Fi EA Tour, Binti repackaged her soulful tones and sultry Swahili vibes on Mungo's heavy dub reggae bass lines and Swahili Dub was born.
