The Idea of this EP is to sonically describe the experience of a hike in the woods, from the moment we enter the natural environment, to when we exit it and get back to the human world. Most of the sonic elements within these tracks are based on the perception of the surroundings and the evolution of our thoughts/feelings throughout this journey. These elements are, for example, the footsteps’ rhythm (which plays an important part in the 1st track), the random beams of light penetrating the foliage while we walk through the wood and the seldom bigger openings to the sky, birdsong, etc.. . All of these elements have been the conceptual (and sometimes practical) basis for both the sound design and the tracks' arrangement.
