So we started out on working on a new album under their new name "Silversonic". Sadly the german label pulled out halfway through the progress and this is one of the few tracks that made it to mixdown.

This song was all but finished back in '88 as The Face drew its last breath. In short, it was never released. And perhaps it wouldn't have been, as cold as it is. Personally love it a lot and I've always wanted to finish it. 

I wrote it at the finality of failed big love. It was quite grand, at least to me, the cold war night life era, our grandeur. Even my failure at love was carefully designed, I guess our of hunger for even colder nights. 

Not that we didn't love. Boy, we loved!
