Presenting our 12th edition of our new mix series, 'ᴛʜʀᴏᴜɢʜ ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴇᴇᴛs'. This volume features dela Moontribe, dj/producer with music that spans a range that includes drum and bass, dubstep, midtempo glitch, and downtempo. Deep baselines and thundering bottom ends combine as dub, tribal, world, funk, hip-hop, and techy elements infuse her music. Dela’s sets are a lyrical and psychedelic experience that reflect her resolute positivity and energy for life.  This extended mix features a heavy dose of bass in realms of half time/drum and bass, which was played at November moontribe, and re-recorded for Through the Streets.  Happy New Moon - Super moon , Geminid meteor!!!

She is a resident dj and organizer of Southern California’s legendary Moontribe Collective. Since 1993, Moontribe’s full moon desert gatherings have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene.  She also has a collaborative bass music project called Trikaya with Brian Saitzyk (a.k.a. Eastern Sun).  She has recently played huge sets at such festivals as Outlook Festival in Croatia, Shambhala Music Festival in British Columbia, Utopia (Boom afterparty in Portugal), Firefly Gathering, Lightning in a Bottle, EDC Las Vegas, Rainbow Serpent in Australia, and The Great Convergence in Egypt. dela has provided direct support for names such as Desert Dwellers, Thriftworks, Mr. Bill, Kalya Scintilla, G Jones, Phutureprimitive and countless others.

For the fifteenth installment of Rusted Rhythms, we are incredibly excited to present a mix from Primate, a UK native with a penchant for all things percussion. Primate has established himself as voyager of modern electronic music, and co-curates his own eclectic label, SmallPrint Recordings. We are honored to announce that in addition to entering the Rusted Rhythms catalog, Primate will also join The Rust Music’s roster as our newest represented artist.

Traversing familiar hip-hop, downtempo, half-time and full-time D&B rhythms, this mix is an adventurous dive into the plethora of contemporary producers who push left-field, harmonious, and off-kilter music. Sonic servings include excellent selections from Culprate, Koan Sound, Ivy Lab, kLL sMTH, and a choice track from SmallPrint label-mate Kercha. Keep your ears perked and you might even hear the unreleased Primate track slithering around somewhere.

The relationship between jazz, soul, and intelligently designed synthesis are the staples of the Primate sound, and the mix he has provided explores the combination of these musical stylings. We will continue to integrate such sounds into our world and yours by representing Primate through The Rust Music.
