Mental and hypnotic. This is what best defines Onohno's music, who always tries to build bridges between different genres of electronic music. For some years now, he has been developing an interest in hybrid styles and techno, oscillating between erratic rhythms and organic sounds to achieve the most total musical immersion possible.

As we enjoyed this one a lot, Simon Popp and I wanted to share our live improvisation session for Intimacy Quarterly at Blitz Club Munich from January 2024. 
Simon Popp is a very talented jazz drummer who is capable of creating complex yet beautiful sound art with his big variety of timbres in his drum set. Following the aesthetics and ideas of our collab album 'Candid' on the Munich based label Squama records, we created a little sonic journey with loads of sound design experiments.

For our 23rd installment, it's with great excitement that we welcome Georgian and Berlin-based artist Irakli, one of the finest selectors of the German capital and founder of the infamous STAUB techno parties.

Irakli embarks us here on a journey to a space that defies time and logic, where reality blurs between past, future, and the unknown. This mix is a surreal soundtrack to an imaginary voyage where nothing is as it seems. Is it a futuristic game or a dream from another universe?

Constantly in search of new sounds and auditory textures, Sonhan pulls inspiration from an eclectic music taste to challenge current dance music. With attention to selection as exigent in lower tempo dub as with peak time club tracks, he is able to deliver experiences that can be analyzed for their musical insight while creating an enveloping organic atmosphere for escapists. Besides his work as a producer and selector, Sonhan is the organizer and resident of Brussels’ monthly Metropolis gatherings.

The 10th chapter of Biotechnology podcasts belongs to @dukdatura Originally from Mongolia, but living in Warsaw, she is an very talented DJ  distinguished by her uncommon selection and technical skill. A member of the Drumaty and @IMPRO collectives, as well as the duo DUBS, which she co-founded with @qbs Duk loves to combine bass music, broken beats with techno. She finds herself especially well in deep and dub sound areas. All this can be heard strongly in the recording, there are also a lot of musical excursions into Detroit. You can feel the depth here, the rhythmic fantasy, and all this is served in a club-like, danceable way (the set, which is worth mentioning, was recorded during one of the IMPRO events). We invite you to take a journey through proper Leftfield & groovy techno with DUK.
