Argentinian duo Biotech Patagonia return on Moonchild Records after having debuted on the label last summer with their remix for A Skitzo's Against Us single. This time they carry the weight of a solo release titled 'Iceland EP' which features two originals + two remixes by Hacobb and Unseen.

The title track is a mysterious, deep and melancholic piece of work featuring a beautiful eerie vocal. Modern Agenda / Blaufield / MNL artist Hacobb takes the deep and dark sound of the original but turns it into an uplifting, intelligent progressive house mover, whilst the Unseen. duo goes for a more stripped down and intense approach.

Tassilo is the second original by Biotech Patagonia. A melodic techno track full of interesting sounds and a proper builder, very mature sounding!

Staying true to their roots, Desert is a new interpretation of their Patagonia Techno sound. 
Opening the EP, Desert is a deep journey with a solid bassline, hypnotic melodies and fresh percussions.
On the other hand, italian producer DXXXV https://soundcloud.com/d35newmusicorder explores another dimension, keeping the main elements but giving a new twist with his remix.
Closing the list, Ritus takes you to a techno peak sensation surrounded with heavy leads & synths.

By bringing vocals into their dj set, the Argentinian duo from Villa La Angostura, Biotech Patagonia stepped into the melodic techno scene. Violeta's piano and vocalist background met Constantino's dj-ing skills just as they where both seeking for a twist in their music. Their performances are quite unique and inspiring, given that the vocals and keys are improvised during every live show.

Though both were driven to techno and electronic parties since teenagers, Violeta had and is still training as a singer and piano player. Constantino was part of an alternative rock band in his youth, playing guitar, bass and started playing some records when he set foot in the Patagonia region.

The Argentinian duo present us with an intelligent EP, melodic progressive compositions with deep synthesizers and sweet vocals that are complemented by their love for details that will blow your mind.

The strawberry on the cake is brought by the hands of UNER and Viviana Toscanini performing their very personal re-version of the track 'Natura' with their own melodies and an epic development to balance this EP and bring a different vision to it.

Darek Recordings presents the remixes from the acclaimed début EP of the Argentinian duo Biotech Patagonia. The reworks include UNER and Viviana Toscanini, Tuco and Saulo Pisa. Almost six months after the release of Biotech Patagonias Natura EP the duo finally releases the awaited Natura Remixes.

As revealed in their first ever release which came out late 2018 on Dilek Records, Biotech Patagonia present a melodic style and a unique take on electronic music, incorporating live vocals sung by Violeta Reynal, one half of the duo. Constantino Vela is the other half and his vast DJ and Producer skills prove the backing track for the vocals. In the studio Violeta is also a skilled pianist, whilst Constantino builds the bulk of the track using drum machines and synthesisers. Now, with Natura Remixes youll also experience how others team up and give to Biotechs work new visions with diverse sounds and different approaches.

For the remixes, UNER has teamed up with Viviana Toscanini, a South American native nowadays based in New York, to present their version of the title-track Natura. UNER to fans of the melodic genre needs little introduction, as he regularly DJ's all over the globe, and has releases on many of the world's best known labels. 

Tuco, DJ and Producer from Neuquen (Argentina) is also a part of this new launch, presenting his personal take of Whispers and last but not least, Saulo Pisa from Barcelona is in charge of closing this release with his remix of Natura - available at the end of April 2019 via Darek Recordings.
