Malte-S is a resident of Dresdens club objekt klein a which is not only a home base for electronic music lovers, but also hosts dance performances, theater and political panels in order to offer a different perspective and hope in a conservative city like Dresden. His musical journey began 2012 with the Floppy collective and soon Plastic House crew, known for intimate vinyl only basement nights with a focus on the classic house and disco sound. Nowadays he switches the discogs filters more towards techno, progressive house and (psy-)trance from the 90s and 00s, aiming to create diverse sets with an organic, dubby, funky or trippy feel.

In dieser Sendung von "Radio Impuls" ist Janka aka Jan K. (@jank231) zu Gast. Als DJ, Mitgründer der SYLP Clique und mit seiner Arbeit fürs Artik hat er die Freiburger Szene zu großen Teilen mitgestaltet. Mit ihm spricht Host montage über die Bedeutung der Community für die Veranstaltung von Partys, für die Transformation von Subkulturen und Entwicklungen in der elektronischen Musik. Nach dem Gespräch spielen die beiden für die zweite Stunde noch ein b2b.

Bei Radio Impuls geht es grundsätzlich um elektronische Musik. Im Zentrum stehen dabei die Neugier für den Sound, die Geschichte und die Entwicklungen von experimentelleren Genres, die sich an den Grenzen der Clubmusik entwickeln. Im Fokus stehen die Fragen, wie verschiedene Subgenres sich gegenseitig beeinflussen, wie dies mit der subkulturellen Szene, bestimmten Künstler*innen, Labeln und Orten zu tun hat. Auf der Sound-Ebene ist die Sendung damit die Fortsetzung dessen, was die Impuls Crew in Freiburg durch Auflegen und das Veranstalten von Partys unter anderem beabsichtigt: Neugier zu schaffen, um neugierig zu bleiben für andere, neue Left-Field-Sounds innerhalb der elektronischen Clubmusik.

Together with his crew the co-founder of the Berlin and Leipzig based collective Interphase (ex @audiovisionelles) hosted some of the wildest parties in recent berlin history, if he is not planning some ridiculous event, he usually can be found in the dance giving the crowd a pleasuring combination of still hidden gems of the past and the freshest dubs of the present. For this mix he went for a giving mixture of future Speed Garage anthems and long forgotten Bassline House classics, keeping it strictly 4x4.
