Swiss DJ & producer, Mirko Loko, continued to indulge in his intergalactic persuasions on last year’s long player “Comet Plan”. Released on Cadenza, Mirko’s second album was enthusiastically received and picked up many fans for its collection of blissfull and wide-eyed electronica and techno sounds. Featured guests on the album included dOP’s vocalist, JAW, and Francesco Tristano.

12 months on, and “Comet Plan” gets revisited and remixed by two stellar names from the electronic dance community. Hailing from Dallas, Brett Johnson has become synonymous with masterful jackin house music via singles for Derrick Carter’s Classic, DJ Sneak’s Magnetic, Freerange and Visionquest. Brett tackles “U Special” featuring JAW, and turn in a very tasty Remix which is our Debut Transmission today, Brett delivers the goods in abundance on these mixes.

Already some years ago the idea had come up to re-issue some of Alex Krueger's now sought-after (and increasingly expensive) early works as Korsakow, Dub Taylor, PsychoPlasma and many other alter egos and collaborations as well as pieces from more recent days that, with new technology available, can now be re-mixed and re-mastered to audiophile standards. 

First in a series of restored recordings of classic tracks are two Tigerskin songs from 2008, originally released on Dirt Crew Recordings. His big jam 'Peters Secret Weapon' and the trance-infused 'Platin'. The last track is taken from the second release on the short-lived Monza Records that pretty much disappeared at some point, and unfortunately, took with it this beautiful piece called 'The Beach', one of our personal favourites from Alex's musical output in 2008.

All tracks were restored and mixed again from their original parts by Stefan Janson and re-mastered at www.salz-mastering.com.
