I got on my bike today and made a spontaneous mix honoring of Albert Hofmann's  magnificent moment in history, 80 years ago so (L)et's (S)tart(D)ancing!
This global psychedelicatessen of elevating, knotty, percolating, pulsing and squidgy bassliness is woven with a smorgasbord of flavor. Low-end basscapades, traditional horn lines and global soundplay all meet up with  the skank and stutter of dub reggae vibes while they mesmerizingly entangle with psychedelic sound design. Birds of Paradise is California-born producers Torin Goodnight (Bird of Prey) and Tyler Gibson (Gibson).  Since their debut in 2011, they have traveled the world, playing main stage at many of the biggest and best electronic music festivals.  Having a similar aesthetic but still maintaining an individual approach, they combine forces in a symbiotic project to work towards a common vision and master the art of collaboration.  The duo plays to its strengths- patience, beauty, and depth to offer a truly original sound of rolling percussive breakbeats, progressive melodies, incredible sound design and twisted psychedelic layers.  Their fusion of elements, both natural and synthetic, create an engaging bio-digital landscape that leaves little to the imagination.
