our creativity, 
our freedom of expression,

They want to determine, 
What we write, 
And Where we write,

What is right, 
And what is wrong,

Which Text, 
Which Pictures, 
Which Videos,

Build themselves a beacon of censorship, 
Adapted for their own standards, 
Which burns down, 
Everything they swear to protect,

And as they form the net, 
Their true face, 
Becomes more obvious,

Addicted to Greed and control, 
Consumed by power, 
That they seem to possess,

But mostly it is clear to see, 
Their fear for that, 
What they claim to protect, 
And that which they do not understand,

For every act of censorship, 
That they insist is better, 
A new room of darkness will appear, 
within a house of marble, 
rendered with high gloss,

Resistance will rain down, 
Becasue the net needs protection, 
But not from people like us, 
But the regulators,

Sie wollen uns so viel nehmen,
Unsere Kreativität,
Unsere Meinungsfreiheit,

Sie wollen bestimmen,

Was richtig ist,
Und was Falsch,

Welche Texte, 
Welche Bilder,
Welche Videos ,
Erlaubt sind, 

Angepasst an ihre Normen,
Errichten sie ein Fanal der Zensur,
Welches all das niederbrennt,
Was sie vorgeben zu schützen,

Und je Sauberer sie das Netz gestalten,
Umso deutlicher erkennt man,
Ihr wahres ich,

Von Gier und Kontrollwahn besessen,
Von der Macht zerfressen,
Die sie scheinbar besitzen,

Doch am deutlichsten sieht man,
Ihre Angst vor dem,
Was sie vorgeben zu schützen,
Und was sie einfach nicht verstehen,

Für jeden Akt der Zensur, 
Den sie als Verbesserung lobpreißen, 
Wird ein weiterer dunkler Raum entstehen,
in einem von aussen auf Hochglanz
polierten Haus aus Marmor

Wiederstand wird sich regen,

Wunschlos Gleichmütig gewöhne ich mich an die Nichtigkeit meiner Existenz,
Völlig nackt erblicke ich die wahre unabhängige Natur meiner selbst,
Erwacht in der Unveränderlichkeit des seins musst ich nicht länger jemand werden,
Wo sich die Illusion nicht von der Wahrheit unterscheidet hat das Leiden ein Ende.
