Tout Casser is one of the founding members of the Geneva-based, penta-cephalic collective and label Brainwaves. ChatGPT would give us a description of him saying that he is influenced by a wide variety of genres and his music is eclectic and spontaneous, but to tell you that his unique sources of influence are a Scottish musical duo and the exploration of electro-magnetic fields would be closer to the truth. The bell-like sounds in Open Area introduce a more percussion-heavy track. Once again we are accompanied by slightly perceptible fractions of conversation, stolen away among the complexity of the rhythmic elements and the exquisitely discrete bass. The entire Miracle Fish EP is very stripped down, with low BPMs and deep and heavy bass elements, touching a slightly darker side to Tout Casser’s character that we have yet to discover.

As Akk was trudging through the deep snow along a winter coast somewhere in the godforsaken far north, the snowfall was getting heavier and heavier. At one point the shore and the sky became one white canvas, there was no longer any visible horizon. Akk carried a jar tilted slightly to the side, and occasionally a black trickle would spill out onto the endlessly white space. Some said she needed the jar for a ritual to harvest the cloudberries of the souls. Akk was whispering something, and the wind carried her words far away. On the other shore across the frozen bay Ke heard a familiar whisper: "Nothing is forever, nothing is forever, nothing..." and his memories began to reverberate.

Relevant Advisor is the pseudonym of Richmond, VA, based artist Daysailer/Charles Peck. These tracks showcase RA’’s ability to take on both dark and light motifs in weird and wandering ways. This track in particular is an ode to Richmond and is, beyond anything else, a testament to its mood as a city. Sometimes it feels as if you can’t escape, and these tracks demonstrate that escape comes in many forms.
