As we grow older, our friend circle tends to get smaller and smaller with each year. That's how I feel at least. You rarely call your high school friends, the new relationships you form are not as strong as the old ones and at the end of the day you, you're left with just a couple of people. But these are the ones who count anyway.

Just recently, I had to say goodbye to two people, who I considered really, really close. It wasn't easy, and it wasn't how I wanted it to end. But people tend to be set in their ways, and you can rarely convince someone else that his way leads to nothing more than disaster and self-destruction. So you either hold their hand and you both jump to your death or you run away, because it hurts so freaking much to watch them fall.

Not trying to play the saint or the victim here, not in the slightest. Especially with my personal record. I'm just really starting to think wasting your time and energy is the biggest crime you can commit in this world. And sadly, I've wasted more than enough.

That's it, that's farewell I guess. It's kinda funny. A public goodbye to someone who'll never see it.
Perhaps, it's all directed to a part of myself more than anything else.
