Next in the series we focus on one of the rising stars of the Italian scene, Rebecca Delle Piane. With her musical style defined by the 90's sound but with her attention to create gripping tension throughout the tracks, this got quickly noted by artists as Modullar, Ben Sims and Bas Mooy. Now she started her own label Night Garden, with a first EP that combines the deep but peak-time approach.
The next hour, she displays exactly that and it's certain you will see her play all over Europe very soon.

BIO:
Rotterdam home-based dj/producer Bas Mooy (1976) has been active on many fronts in the techno scene since 1999. Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength twenty-fourseven, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, which lead him to the forefront of the global techno scene.

In 2002 he kickstarted Audio Assault Records with label partner Jeroen Liebregts aka Radial, which resulted in the birth of sublabel Arms one year later. In 2013 Bas started his solo project Mord Records, which rapidly gained a huge fanbase worldwide and has been a major force in techno ever since. 
 
For almost twenty years Bas was a member of the Rotterdam underground collective ‘Strictly Techno’, creators of over a hundred legendary parties since the late nineties.
 
Bas has always been a hard working and devoted producer, releasing music on respected labels such as Mote Evolver, Perc Trax, Pole Group, 47, CLR, Sleaze Records, Planet Rhythm and of course his own imprints Audio Assault and Mord Records. With Mord Records turning 10 in 2023, Bas shows no sign of slowing down.

Fuse resident and Metropolis co-founder Altinbas is quickly emerging from the ever so interesting and fast developing Brussels’ scene from which he is actively part of since 2013 through organizing his own parties. Honing his skills for years, he is renowned for his craftmanship both as a DJ and a producer. Releases on acclaimed labels like Token, SK11 and Non Series are a proof of his high quality musical output and authentic producing style with researched and sculpted sound design on top of impactful and toxic grooves. His music found its place in the sets of the most revered DJ’s since his first release in 2015 (Float Records). 

As a DJ, Altinbas has a way of creating true journeys through carefully selecting cuts and layering them in an interesting manner, mixing compelling elements of each track on the decks to build new dynamics between them, forming a high energy experience with an ever-present underlying story telling by building different emotional phases. 

His new label Observer Station, home to his own creations opened a way for him to release music without any external constraints and keep exploring new grounds, soothing his musical curiosity without letting go of the more traditional function of dance music.

Denise Rabe´s experience in the Berlin techno scene as a booker, radio host, promoter and dj since she relocated to German capital drawn by the possibility of a life in music, is reflected in the pragmatic, grounded artist she became and the unique, original voice she’s developed as a producer.

Her approach and work ethic can be seen expressed on every release she’s done under her label, Rabe, where her music is matched with an equal amount of care, thought and work, in the vessels that contain it, within a coherent aesthetic and vision that informs music, artwork and presentation equally.

This has allowed her to recruit the artist who´s work resonates with her sensibility and can be heard in the remixes Rrose, Shxcxchcxsh, Headless Horseman, among others, have done for her releases on her and other labels.

Imprints such as Mutewax, who released her first 12’’ in 2015, ARTS where she quickly became one of the label´s staples and Stroboscopic Artifacts where she published ‘’Manifesto’’ in 2019, are clear reference points that describe her career and its development. 

Rabe’s particular inclination to sparse industrial soundscapes, gothic aesthetics, driven grooves under hooks that hypnotize as much as they distinguish, have propelled her 10 year career across stages all over the US, Asia and Europe, as well as the clubs that represent the apex of techno world wide such as Berghain and Tresor.
