"When writing the track, I was posed with the decision to write a more "Electonic" version or just go with what felt like the most honest version of myself at that time. Thankfully, I stuck with my intuition and start playing drums over the acapella, wrote some piano and strings, and fleshed out the idea within two nights of writing. I was really inspired by "Forever (feat. Elohim) - Laxcity Remix". I love what he did with those vocals and wanted to capture a piece of that. Creatively it was so much fun writing this song. Just getting to play drums on a record and have it be released is so surreal to me! Also, I love getting lost in my DAW at 3am and simply just going, with no pressure." - WAYN BRANDO
