Max explains why it’s as if he never said goodbye, mainly because he spends ten minutes discussing his latest theater trip. Finally getting a word in edgeways Daniel asks the question, can the winner take it all if they’re not in the room. Then together they take on the one subject that can get them canceled before they’ve even begun. Cheers!

Episode 1: I Hope This Doesn’t Become A Story

It’s Super Bowl week and, in a shocking twist, Daniel and Max have an opinion. Daniel breaks down Rihanna’s outfit in such a way you’ll never look at sleeping bags the same again. Inspired by all this glamor Max explains his foolproof plan to transition from Midwestern Mom to Coastal Grandma. Then together the pair host an impromptu awards ceremony to celebrate capitalism, but just who slaps who?  Cheers!

Episode 2: Superb Owl, the Unsung Hero of Capitalism

We’re back with a super-endowed third episode! Don’t forget to stretch because THIS…PODCAST…HAS…EVERYTHING! Max debates whether if critics can shit in the face of art, can art shit in the face of critics? Inspired by the Superb Owl Daniel gives us some good news from the world of sport. Then together they temporarily give up their dreams of being Coastal Grandmas and try out DC’s latest venue, Bunker. Cheers!

Episode 3: It’s Poppers O’Clock Under the Vauxhall Arches

It’s a brand new episode of the only podcast that smells like mother’s kisses. Daniel’s dating life continues to sound like a Sondheim song and judge(ing) is definitely on the menu. Max thinks he’s finally found the lesbian folk version of Monster Mash he’s been searching for. The Bitches then discuss the situation surrounding drag queens and keep the debate balanced… so long as you agree with everything they say.  Cheers!

Episode 4: Read and be Educated

As we eagerly await a certain songstress to make a comment about Tennessee we give you episode five  to pass the time. Max pays tribute to the greatest of British icons that you’ve never heard of. Daniel says some things but let's face it we all just want his latest confessional about the Priest. Then the bitches finally discuss the Lifetime Original Movie series of events that led to the cultural touchstone that is this podcast. Cheers!

Episode 5: … and Latoya Jackson

It’s the sixth installment of Bitches With Beards franchise so warm up those Silkwood showers, you’re gonna need one after this. Daniel didn’t find Jesus but Jesus found him… three times. Max is left speechless after these revelations but bravely powers through and finds opinions on EVERYTHING! Then the Bitches discuss the Oscars and like true Coastal Grandmas get every name wrong. Cheers!

Episode 6: Introducing Two More Stations of the Cross

Can you Adam and Eve it, we have an audience this week and unless someone pays the ransom they’ll be with us for the entire episode. Freed from his ice-cube only diet Daniel has the energy to find THREE good news stories from the LGBTQ community. Alternately Max doesn’t see any irony in bitching about gay influencers on a public podcast. Then they pair discuss a story that will leave you gagged and GOOPED but you’ll have to wait until the end because it’s all downhill from there. Cheers!

Episode 7: Filmed in front of a Live Studio Audience

Every so often the Gay Gods bless us with culture that is worth losing half a day’s skiing over and we are here for it. After a busy week Daniel is living his best Apres life but will he be “blessed” with company? Max brings the mood down and even shows some emotion as he pays tribute to British drag legend Lily Savage. Then the pair strap on their skis and head for the bunny slopes as they discuss the story with even less substance than ones of Gwyneth’s diet plans. Cheers!

Episode 8: MY EGG!!!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the Bunny slopes, the Bitches are back and we demand to see the manager. Max invents a new type of white privilege in the form of a Golden Girls curse. It’s Holy Week so Daniel’s noony may as well have been behind a rock for three days. Then together the besties discuss their evening with the queen of British comedy, Sarah Millican, much to the disgust of the American’s in the audience. Cheers!

Episode 9: Bobby Dazzler’s with Beards

It’s episode ten ALREADY, which definitely calls for plenty of drinks to keep the beer company’s on our side. Daniel can’t possibly enjoy his vacation until he knows that Tay-Swizz is being taken care of. Max is gay and tired but wants to know what you’re going to do about it. Then these two coastal grandmas reveal how relevant they are by doing a deep dive on a fifty year old musical. Cheers!

Episode 10: Take several bar seats, we already did!

It’s a very special episode of Bitches With Beards so prepare yourself for some frank discussions on adult subjects. Daniel is off on his holibobs but worries all the gays are actually on the Mauritania. Max is left bereft, wondering what he’ll do not just without his bestie but also the hubs. The pair decide the situation calls for a spot of speed dating so get ready to discover a little more about Daniel. Cheers!

Episode 11: Holy Seaman, Daniel’s Off Cruising!

The Bitches are back together again and they have a lot to catch up on to top up the Two Buck Chuck and hunker down until morning. Max reads Camilla Parker Bowles and her choice of Coronation menu to filth. Daniel comes to terms with coming second to a block cheese. Then it’s man overboard as the pair deep dive Daniel’s vacation and you know anything goes in international waters. Cheers!

Episode 12: The Mauritania of Podcasts!

No sooner have the Bitches With Beards been reunited than yet again there’s an ocean between them. Max is returning to England for the first time in seven years but all he can think about is a meat pie. Daniel considers the shenanigans he can get up to for two weeks but is he a hoe if it generates content. Then it’s Max’ turn to take the hotseat as the Bitches deep dive into his love for American culture. Cheers!

A Special Message From The Other Side Of The Pond

With Max in England it’s been five full days since the Bitches have spoken so naturally they had to jump on a Zoom for a cheeky catch up. Daniel breaks down the Met Gala but has never been so uninspired by a string of pearls. Max finally reveals the musical he saw in London and all we can say is that it gave him a soggy bottom.  Then the pair go deep on the coronation so if you’re not a fan of the monarchy then may we suggest a French podcast. Cheers!

The Bitches are back… together and are about to deliver an audio dream worthy of Eurovision. Daniel is in the mood for Italian and he’s not talking pasta, well, maybe for energy. Max’ relationship with Swedish pop music is put to the test. Then the pair take to the dance floor as a very special guest drops by to tell us a bedtime story that will definitely get your feet moving… to the exit. Cheers!

It’s been quite the week for your favorite bitches but there’s just enough gas in the tank to produce an episode. Daniel is regretting his recent Pride purchases from Target. Max deep dives into a new culture in England that makes them question their Coastal Grandma status. Then the pair pay tribute to the iconic Tina Turner, the role she played in their early culture and everything that made her SIMPLY THE BEST. Cheers!

Episode 16: Why does no one remember Cold Mountain?

It’s the start of Pride Month and these two Coastal Grandma’s are already in dire need of a nanna nap.  Daniel confirms that heaven can be found through a priest. Max is glad Katie Perry made it ok for us to like Rebecca Black. Then the pair pay deep dive on the live action Little Mermaid and wonder if it was better when it was sluttier. It’s Pride weekend in Washington DC and the Bitches have been painting the town all the colors of the rainbow. Daniel clarifies that he only deals with bears in his personal life.
