EPHIE’s development as a musician started in the so called „Ruhrgebiet“ and took her to Cologne in 2017. Since she is one of those artists who discovered their dedication to techno on the dance floor, you will always recognize EPHIE’s very strong connectivity to the crowd, even being placed inside the booth behind the decks.
In 2015 the young techno enthusiast became part of the “kwerfo:rmat-Kollektiv” and played at several events hosted by her crew. Further down the road she started playing all around the country and abroad, hitting different places such as Fusion Festival, Feel Festival, Tresor.West or Leipzig’s infamous Institut fuer Zukunft.
At the beginning of 2018 EPHIE finally joined the Goethebunker family by becoming a resident at one of her designated clubs. Since her relationship to the club has been very special for many years the kick-off of her residency somehow felt like “coming home”.
EPHIE’s sound can precisely be described as very powerful and floating techno mixed with breakbeats.
