V nocojšnji epizodi poslušamo gostujoči miks slovenskega dvojca Nitka, ki ga sestavljata Nika in Nitram, izkušena sukača plošč, ki sta zrasla na ljubljanski sceni, se vmes preselila v Rotterdam in zdaj že več kot desetletje brskata bo zaprašenih škatlah ploščarn širom Evrope. Skupaj z Akajem in Nino vodita projekt Rite of Passage, ki je razdeljen na butično založbo in klubska serialko. Po krajšem premoru se serialka prihodnji teden vrača v klub K4, kjer v goste prihaja selektorka Vlada. 

Obeta se nam filingaška, nagruvana in atmosferično vznemirljiva selekcija na presečišču deep housa, funked-up breaksov in zadubiranih poskočnic.

By embracing a clash of multiple influences, the vigorous duo of Young Adults have had some fruitful years behind the decks and synths.

In terms of production, this lead them to eternalise their sleek productions on NHS, Undefined and (very recently) Private Parts. While based in The Hague, they’ve been playing all around and controlled the systems of Pip, De School and VBX to name but a few.

The 2-hour mix they’re serving us consists of a broad range of tunes and also holds some of their own bits. Enjoy.

Sous-Vide Records welcomes Swedish duo Zlene & Mathias Hinds with SVRSR025, a four-track release that blends groove, subtlety, and atmosphere in equal measure. Opening with Baitrunner, the pair deliver a smooth breakbeat-inspired minimal cut, full of groove and oldschool flavor. Ovlov follows with a more mysterious, low-key vibe-dark yet understated. On Hybrid Burbot, the mood shifts toward a more adventurous energy, with rolling minimal rhythms that feel like the soundtrack to a solitary journey through lush, uncharted terrain. Closing the release, fellow Swede Kalkyl reworks Baitrunner into a trippier, more direct dancefloor-driven version, rounding off an EP that is as versatile as it is distinctive.

Marseille boys Raf and Vins aka The Signal Phantasm (@signalphantasm) impressed many with their first EP, Holy Bread, which has just been put out on Lumbago (@lumbagoo). Its pumping house rhythms with breakbeat interludes, ray-gun zaps and Snoop Dogg samples got us wondering what a mix from these guys would come out like. So we asked, and they delivered!

Their selection in today's podcast is described by R+V as a combination of cosmic Detroit sounds, futurist techno and avant-garde bleeps and breaks. It's got us more than ready to party with these two sometime in the near future.
