Innersha is an electronic music producer and live performer based in Yerevan, Arm- enia. Her passion for crafting stories and sound palettes became the foundation for deve- loping her signature live sets.
Inspired by the elements and sounds of nature, her soundscapes are infused with organic percussive textures and hypnotizing grooves. Innersha is also a co-founder of the dk.tsk collective and label, where her artistic vision has been significantly shaped by studio experimentation and communal music experiences.

Following her mesmerizing live set in our SoundSculptors series, we‘re proud to release the debut EP ‚Inner Landscapes‘ by Innersha, a gifted producer hailing from Armenia.
The EP features her signature organic, trippy aesthetic, starting with ‚Yutori,‘ a deep, tribal track that hypnotizes with its intense, subconscious pull. ‚Konda‘ shifts gears with driving rhythms and playful, intricate layers, while ‚Emeralds‘ explores trance- like influences with a relentless, organic flow. ‚Elysion‘ provides a lighter, more airy sound that remains grounded by its driving bass and rhythm. The final track, ‚Shma- na,‘ delivers an intense, energetic finale, with powerful drone swells and percussion that push the track into the grey area. This release is a rich exploration of the diverse elements that make up an ‚Inner Landscape.‘

Characterised by a discernible signature of harmonious yet implicit tensions, DJ and producer Hayden Payne’s (aka @phasefatale ) contentious palette of both precise sonic and narrative elements shape his world of techno. Presenting his second EP of 2024, ‘Altars’, the BITE Label boss forecasts a confessional state looking onto a decomposing world through the perspective of frenetic energy, evolving polyrhythmic sequences and fleshy dancefloor vigour. 

Built on a trifecta of three original productions, as well as two featured remixes from Kangding Ray and Setaoc Mass, the extended play is a walk through of Phase Fatale’s cadence for dancing around the structural framework of his tracks with superlative control, entwining rhythms from contrasting metres of electronic composition. Altars’ production of electric reverberation follows a trajectory of cybernetic kicks, stabs of short circuit zaps and heartbeat style drum loops embellished by the serene textures of euphoric gleams and sensual chords, augmenting a sonic motif of dystopian salvation. 

The remixes fortify the body of works gritty soundscape with Kangding Ray’s complex sound aesthetics delivering a frantic buzz of sonic tachycardia and Setoac Mass’ experimental spliced shrapnel from the tracks origin creating murky, blizzard-like scatterings. Walking a fine line between themes of the divine and sacrilegious, Phase Fatale’s conscious composition of hedonistic, multi-layered techno and complex world-building narratives further emphasises his production's structure and geometry.

After “Registers” had several months to breathe, Binary Algorithms follows the release of the EP [FTA EP06] with 4 recompositions.

The relative new face UFO95 opens delivering his first remix for "Register #01", the forceful but tender character of the original track is overturned into brutal break techno, the steady drive of this rework leaves no room for pause as it unleashes a heavy twisted tunnel of steam and metal that resounds throughout.

Tokyo’s DJ SHUFFLEMASTER reworks the 02 side, taking one of the most banging tracks from the “Registers” EP, he transforms the piece into a burning hypnotic ride by re-layering weighty atmospherics over a rolling beat and introducing a new synth line that injects some intense emotion.

The second half of the EP is followed by the redefinition of the 3rd craft by Stanislav Tolkachev. The absorbing arrangement combines the stable dub chords from the original track with unpredictable synths and a bulky pumping beat while filter effects are used to diffuse/build the tension and create a balanced mix.

The last remix comes by Hannover’s master of Dub Techno .VRIL, who injects his very own sound into the last opus: Here, a huge kick drum boosts for ultra-accurate synth stabs, intensely distorted percussions and spacious sonic ambiences, turning the already club oriented original into a massive Techno stomper with swiveling hips – first class material.

BITE is the Berlin-based techno label co-founded by Hayden Payne (aka Phase Fatale) in 2018. Beginning with the debut collaborative EP by Silent Servant & Phase Fatale, the label aims to platform artists who operate outside the conventional preconceptions of techno and are united by an ambition to push the boundaries of electronic music. This drive is further exemplified by regular showcases at renowned institutions Berghain, Basement, and Tbilisi’s KHIDI as well as a multitude of clubs throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

With a vast artist roster from stalwarts such as Ron Morelli and Teste to contemporary talent from the likes of Pablo Bozzi and Gael, the eclectic variety of releases touches upon a range of styles along the moodier fringes of electronic music. BITE has proved itself as the imprint to watch. Fresh off the heels of their 5 year anniversary in 2023 culminating in the acclaimed triple LP compilation ‘Shedding Skin,’ BITE moves into more dancefloor territory with their next releases by label head Phase Fatale and remixes by Rrose. The display of the music is also represented in its visual prowess with cutting designs and colorways intended to take the sound into another dimension.
