This is the year 2022, not 1942, and sadly the Ukrainians are facing something no people should. When this war broke out well over a month ago, I (MÆDON), started reaching out to artist friends asking if they were interested in contributing to a benefit comp for the Ukrainian’s. Many amazing artists joined and the result is a 15 track album filled with a dynamic range of sounds.

With this album, a new series on Sonic Groove is born, “Sonic Groove & Friends”. A series that myself, MÆDON, will be curating. Adam and I also want to thank each of the artists for contributing stellar tracks for this cause.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Delectro. The Bogota based artist returns to Bloody Mary's imprint Dame-Music with a massive EP that will make you work up a sweat. Influenced by 80’s electronic sounds, EBM basslines, and the power of techno and electro, Delectro delivers 3 scorching original tracks which contain elements from all these influences, as well as his own vocals on the title track 'Mass Control' which we premiere today. BITE is the Berlin-based techno label co-founded by Hayden Payne (aka Phase Fatale) in 2018. Beginning with the debut collaborative EP by Silent Servant & Phase Fatale, the label aims to platform artists who operate outside the conventional preconceptions of techno and are united by an ambition to push the boundaries of electronic music. This drive is further exemplified by regular showcases at renowned institutions Berghain, Basement, and Tbilisi’s KHIDI as well as a multitude of clubs throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
