Analog Acid Mud

Acid Jam with Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1UW+ MK2, MFB-522, 2x Acidlab Bassline3, x0xb0x and Korg Volca Keys. Recorded with an analog mixer into my Laptop.

I just used the MD-909 soundset to make a "normal" beat for my first try with the MD.. I'm really looking forward to making some more glitchy beats and combine them with my analog gear.. stay tuned. ;)

Acid Jam with hardware synths. For the cutz I used the open source DJ software Mixxx2 with my Traktor Scratch vinyl. I also got the NI sw, but Mixxx2 starts faster and is great for just loading samples and start scratching.

Synths used: Elektron Machinedrum for main drums, central clock and also sequencing the acidlab.de Bombass and Waldorf Blofeld. The audio of the MFB-522 break is routed thru the MD. Last but not least 2x acidlab.de Bassline3 as well as x0xb0x for the acid feel. ;)
Effects: MD built-in, several Mooer distortion pedals and Korg KaossPad mini
Recorded directly into Bitwig Studio, mastered with Ozone 6 and FabFilter Pro-L

The entire track was made using Audio Damage VST Plug-Ins only (except mastering) - <a href="http://www.audiodamage.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.audiodamage.com</a>

It started out as an experiment in a swiss hotel on a laptop, that's why the track was done in energyXT rather than Ableton Live.
The drive to finish the track came from this YouTube video by AD <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qySDTPFryIk" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">"Simple IDM Track Using Only Audio Damage Plug-Ins"</a> and this blog entry on <a href="http://www.analogindustries.com/blog/entry.php?blogid=1321216444332" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Analog Industries</a>.
