Yess!! It's that time again! Let's go waaayyy back to a prehistoric breakbeat planet. Everybody is dancing, drinking beers and getting all crazy on lo-fi techno breakbeatz. I did this jam this evening, using only the Octatrack and some verry basic samples. The beat is constructed from a kick, (or maybee two kicks) snare and some hihats. First i build the beat, sampled it, chopped it again, and then again, looped it, chopped it again and the main 'trick' or thing i did to getting that weird sound was sending some channels to the Octa's cue out's, via some effect units and then back to the C/D input's again and the rest is just fingerfast klicketyclacking on / off the channels and turning those knobs. Again, for me it's just fun jamming on the Octatrack and fooling around a little. Raw energy! Vibezzz! Space! Cheers!!

Sunday morning acid jam with the Octatrack, the TD-3 and some coffee.

All basic stuff, some of it re-sampled via que > fx pedals > return to C&D in the Octatrack. Just clicketyclacking the Octa tracks on and off, and some knobbyt massage on the TD-3. Also paying around with the volumes and intensity of the (pseudo)compression on the Octa. The whole mix went thru the Analog Heat clean boost circuit for some xtra pump and saturation.
