“Friends In Time” captivates immediately, like a shaken snow globe. Lina’s dueling vocals drift through the air, shivering at the edge of tears, but never quite breaking. Cradling a message of forlorn love is languid slide guitar, and rousing strings, opening up at times like the first rays of dawn. Soft, warm, the lazy nuzzle into the warmth of a pillow, it’s a moment that you don’t want to end.
