“Have I Seen Grass?” is an aggressive hip-hop/dubstep hacker anthem inspired by a real Hacker Jeopardy moment, when the infamous “FCKGW” Windows XP key lit up the crowd and a heckler sneered, “Have you ever seen grass?” The track fires back with rapid-fire, Eminem-style bars that flip the insult on its head, flexing deep-cut hacker culture: hardware hacking, firmware, RF, phone phreaking, red-team/blue-team ops and late-night CTF grind. It’s a love letter to the hacker scene and a warning shot to anybody who thinks “touch grass” is the ultimate burn.

"Connection Lost" is an 8-track concept album from bitwize, a grizzled veteran of the hacker scene who came up through BBS boards at 2400 baud, watched the web explode with promise, and lived long enough to see it all get paved over by corporations and surveillance capitalism.

Part memoir, part manifesto, part funeral rite—the album traces the arc of digital culture from its scrappy, weird, beautiful beginnings to its sanitized, monetized present. 

Each track is a timestamp in the slow death of the open internet.

The album opens with a modem handshake and closes with a carrier signal fading to silence. In between: BBS nostalgia, early web chaos, the hacker golden age, LAN parties at 3AM, the corporate takeover, and a eulogy for every dead link and digital friend who logged off and never came back.
