Sirobosi Frawstakwa, member of the Instagram group "Verse of the Day" invited me to a special chat (at Wowapp, see below)- this group and the chat are dedicated to freestyle rappers who only work with their smartphones.

I like the idea to bring poems to the world in such a short and unadulterated way. So I asked him if he would give me some of his verses to combine with something new and yes :)
here it is:

*How Did They Know?*

how did they know that I would flip out with the flows?
was it something I said? assuming so but I suppose
that that’s the way that it goes like how else could I ever hope
to upload a viral video as a post?
I’m nowhere near a pro but if by chance I get close
I’ll continue to show integrity gotta have soul
in this twilight zone guest starring celebrity ghosts
I just get in the spirit when I get on the microphone

without a worry in the world
working my way towards rhyming with every word
I guess you could say I’m a nerd
or something else unlike what you have ever heard of
some of my lyrics are absurd
others are profound and each of them obscure
through it all rest assured
that me without a sound it never would occur

never striking a pose in model citizen mode
political moves without ulterior motives
a modern day mogul making the most of the moment
the message in the music just keeps on giving them more
so without further adieu about to give them what for
and if you want to know the reason why I’m not really sure
it’s just a natural occurrence an artist to the core
and this has been my #verseoftheday thanks for listening yo

meaning get up ready to get out there and earn
I’m not waiting until my turn

I’ve been aware of my worth
I wonder what would happen if I pushed myself further

then I’ll follow up with something so good that it hurts
