I have no social media other than sc, and I felt the need to write some form of status update to explain my situation.

This song has been in the making since early May this year. I haven't been able to finish it due to things in my life that prevented me from completing it. If circumstances had been more favorable, it would have been out several months ago.

About a year ago things took a turn for the worse when I was diagnosed with depression and a pretty severe burnout. Even though my life was more or less falling apart, music was always there. Wether it be Burzum or Bach i could always retreat into my room and dissapear into a soundscape not having to worry about reality, at least for the moment.

Although things have been better lately, I'm lacking motivation and inspiration. This has prevented me from working on major music projects and also made it harder to finish anything I've started. Therefore, I decided to take a break from music, not sure for how long, but probably a long time.

I have never considered myself good at making music, but people enjoyed it way more than I would've expected. This might sound weird but I feel humbled by every single positive comment or new follower. That someone out there appreciate my music makes me feel meaningful and it makes me really happy.

Even though I haven't been a very active part of the community it still made me feel welcome and the few I've spoken to have been really good people. I'm immensely grateful for all of the support I've gotten, and I appreciate everyone who took their time listening to my music. Thanks for 150 followers!

I don't know when I'll start making music again, but I will.
