Lisa, better known by her DJ name Violetta, has always been surrounded by music and quickly found her love for it. She played the sax in the local marching band, where she fine-tuned her ears for harmonizing instruments.
At the beginning in 2020 she went behind the decks and discovered new musical directions and variations. The young artist is characterized by her hard and driving grooves, but is not afraid of varying with trance or acid tunes. She only cares that the mood fits on the dancefloor.

She combined topics and styles creating a unique rap style full of poetry and feminist and political protest messages, fusing sometimes flamenco rhythms and electronic sounds. She is an icon of Spanish urban music, and an icon of feminist vindication in music. Someone to remember, and someone to listen to her lyrics and her voice, full of power and sentiment.

Last Saturday at Border City. Before playing, I had a deep conversation with Paul Seul about stage presence and the artist/public interaction. I’m definitely not an ‘natural born entertainer’ and jump to the crowd takes a huge dose of courage and madness! But I did it, during my last track, people were on fire! There is a mutual motivation game between you and the crowd, it’s very beautiful.

Natürlich könnten wir hier schreiben, wie krass der Berliner "The Reason Y" unsere Meinung nach ist, wie viel Tracks er schon auf den fettesten Labels released hat oder in welchen traumhaften Kulissen er schon aufgelegen durfte.

Aber bei Uns läuft das wie Ihr wisst ein bisschen anders!
Wir erzählen Euch lieber eine Geschichte...


Es war einmal... vor mittlerweile über einem Jahr... in der deutschen Techno-Haupstadt...
Damals... als die Clubs noch in Betrieb waren und man Geburstage noch feiern durfte...
Die Spree war ganz ruhig und die Nacht war noch so jung...
Wir hatten keine Ahnung was Uns erwartet und halten uns bis heute noch an dieser Erinnerung fest...
Nicht ein Foto wurde gemacht, von niemanden von uns...

Wir durften nicht nur ganz nah mit dabei sein, sondern wurden regelrecht von einem
Meister der DJ-Handwerkskunst ausgeklinkt...


6 Stunden lang, hat es Fred geschafft uns mit seinem Sound auf den Dancefloor zu pinnen.
Es war gerade zu magisch, alle Sorgen waren wie weggezaubert...
Völlig heiser, durchgeschwitzt, überwältigt und mit einem ordentlichen Muskelkater haben wir den Club irgendwann in den frühen Morgenstunden verlassen...
Vielleicht wars auch schon mittags, wer weiß das schon so genau...

Was bleibt ist eines unserer absoluten Rave-Highlights,
eine unbeschreibliche Nacht, in der man den Spirit gerade zu anfassen konnte...



Wir sind dankbar, dass wir einen unserer Lieblings-Künstler eine Stunde für Euch einfangen konnten!
The Reason Y hat speziell dafür seine alte Liebe zum Drum ´N` Bass erneut erblühen lassen und liefert uns
ein 170 BPM-Set der Superlative!
Was dabei raus kam, ist in unseren Augen ein Meisterwerk!
