I am very unhappy with this music. It sounded good on mixing stage, but it changed sound on mastering stage. I just don't have enough mastering experience and probably did something wrong. I bothered with the mastering for 3 days.

It's a good music but I don't like how it sounds after the mastering.

Wish I could afford a good mastering engineer instead of making mastering by self. But I can't afford it yet.

A lil bit of back story.

I written the first instance of this track in 2013. It was inspired by 25 years anniversary of my favorite game The Guardian Legend. At that year I also made another approach because the music was also taken by guys who tried to make a sequel. So I improved a lil bit. Too bad they flopped and stopped to develop. Then I opened the song in 2018 and added that down fall from fast to slow speed FX. And then like I added it again and then I came up with idea to add them through entire song and each one should be different. So I did that kinda. And then put away. And now in 2021 I open the project again. I made few dozen more of this kind of effect because I thought they are a bit too similar. And also working on a lot of other things.

Space Guardian

This track was written around 10 years ago. But I could not finish it because I did not know how to. Now I know some things about mixing and sound design and I finished this track. I am glad how it came out. Sounds good and driving me.
It takes a little bit of time the track to appear on streaming like Spotify, Deezer or stores like Apple, Google, Beatport etc. It will be delivered there in 1-3 weeks.

The Soundcloud conversion to mp3 made the track a very slightly bit distorted. But I notice that only in studio monitors headphones and also on low quality(as my account not premium). With high quality stream it should be fine.

Took me tons of time and headache to finish this. Mostly everything made from scratch. Like, drum loops for example - from scratch with one shots and layering them. Snares - layering, synthesis, post process. Most of FX - from scratch(synths tweaking, layering foleys, post processing). And so on.

A little bit of history. This track is a remake of one of my early electronic music I written in late 90's in Fast Tracker II. The bass line, the melody is all from there. The really new additions in this is a morphing bass into drums, SFXs. The original track is lost long ago. I had the song in memory and time to time it hit me. Around 2017-2018 it came to my mind again and I written down the bass line and melody notes just for a case. Then I started to work on the track in 2019 and it was very hard and looooooooooooong to make it.

Sine Rise - my new track in a style that is not explored(?) and based on idea of a style that not exists(I guess). Initial idea was to create a song made of sines only. If you're advanced producer you know that slapping a distortion, FM, AM, heavy vibrato, glitches, grains and whatever will turn a sine into not a sine.
A style could be called - Sine-Fi
Working on the song with sines only turned out to not sound too good. So I made decision to add in normal drums, FX, and lil bit of layering on some sounds. The base is still all sines. Which resulted in some specific soft sound. Some drums parts are sine based too.

So if anyone want to try new idea - try to make Sine-Fi with sines only, cuz I failed. The other debatable thing with this is start of the sound. If you make sharp start - result is click, which is not a sine too. It's funny that the idea of the style is the most primitive wave, but requires some knowledge to keep it sines. So easy to slip into distorting the wave.

Track started as experimental thing with several sounds blending together in some specific way. You can hear that start of the song is that kind of pulsating bass sequence. And then the other melody sounds you hear are actually blended in. This is best hearable between main sections and in the end. When sounds like affect each other, distorting each other. All the melody sounds except the heavy bass(that plays when drums starts) are blended together in that specific way. Which sounds a bit like they are played through some old radio.
