Marley's music had an immense impact on me as a youth and still resonates today Like many, he was my first introduction to reggae and since my first listen back in the 70s and 80s to now, his music does and will continue to stand the test of time and impact generations of fans and musicians alike for  the high quality of song writing and his message of harmony and peace..

I have been thinking about it a lot and I have decided that DUFFDISCO007 is the last bootleg I am going to press to wax. I do however want to continue re-imagining songs and giving my interpretation of them for you to play and listen to and so i'll be giving the reworks away for free. I have set up a donations page if anyone wanted to help with covering the costs of mastering future tracks as i'd still want the best sound possible as I can't afford to be paying for it all myself.

So keep an eye out for new tracks! donate whatever you feel appropriate, of course you can still download if you can't afford to donate.

I produced this mega-mix earlier this year for the 20-years-celebration of Germans biggest music magazine INTRO, who started in 1992. It took me ages to produce, but I really enjoyed doing it, because it was like a musical journey through my life, too. The choice is a mix of songs in Intro*s "end of the year charts"-lists (that i was d*accord with), plus songs that I think were essential for me. there are all sorts of music styles (between independent and clup-pop) included, it starts slow and becomes more upbeat in the course of its 3 hours! I found this disco-track called INTRO-DISCO (a "stars on 45" kinda thing), which was perfect as an Intro and Outro. I had to split it in two halfs for technical reasons. Part 1 ends with the same song (Zoot Woman) that Part 2 starts with, so you can glue it together on your own, if you like! 

Together with a video this mix was played on all "20 years of Intro" parties and concerts as a kind of "support-mix" before the bands started playing

This will not be up for a long time...., so be quick!

MIXTAPE for BBC Radio - ALL BACK TO MINE by DJ Supermarkt (Mellow Disco)

LE HAMMOND INFERNO is the band/dj duo I was in with my friend HOLGER BEIER some (long) time ago. We also ran the record-label BUNGALOW RECORDS and Jeans Team were one of our friends. So in 2004 they asked us to do a remix  ("edit" at that timewas not a very common word...) of their romantic song "Wunderbar". We made it even more romantic by mashing it with a song by a well known band from the eighties... this was never offically released, if you listen you know why.... Enjoy
